Ok, I know that today is actually Monday, but it’s kind of a special day for me. I won’t go into details, but our writing prompts for this week will be dealing with age. For many people, the idea of getting older is terrifying. For others, age is just a number. My challenge to you is to find something in our prompts this week, that will spark your creative mind.

1.) In your opinion, what is the best age to begin dating? Do you believe boys should date sooner than girls? Write an article about the appropriate ages for teenagers to start dating and why.

2.) There are a ton of articles out there that discuss whether or not members of the opposite sex can truly be friends only. However, what about people of various ages? Is it possible for older people to relate to younger people or vise versa? What are your opinions about this subject?

3.) There’s an old saying that goes something like this, “If I only knew then what I know now”. Have you ever used that term before? If so, write a post about it and describe in detail what exactly you would have done differently.

4.) One of my passions is ancient history. If I could have lived in any era, I would have lived in the age of the ancient Britons. Is there a particular time in history that you would have liked to see up close and personal? Talk about what time period you would have liked to live in and why.

5.) Raising children is both tough and enlightening at the same time. Write an article or post about your idea of the best age to start having children. You might also write about the best age span there should be in children or what age you feel is your favorite age in children. Let your creative side write this one for you.

And there you go. This week’s writing ideas. Use them to your will and have fun. If you do write an article or post using any of these ideas, let us know so we can all come by and read.

  1. You have such a creative heart. As you know… I am a very busy blogger and wish I had more time to do fun things like this. But, I still wanted to drop you a line and offer you a compliment on such wonderful writing you do.

    Best Regards,
    Garry Conn

  2. Thanks hon. I love giving others a reason to write. I feel that by helping them find things to write about, I’ve got a reason to keep writing myself.

    Thanks again
