Spooktacular Book Blog Giveaway #3
If you happened to see yesterday’s post, you’ll notice that it says giveaway #1. So what happened to number 2??? You can find that post at my other blog, Redhead Rants. I’ve posted links 11-20 there and I’ll be doing 21-35 here. Why so many??? Because it’s the only way I can get all 87 entries finished before Sunday. And I’m determined to do a little write up about each giveaway as I enter them. If you happen upon this post and noticed that I’ve only gotten a few links added, instead of up to #35, refresh the page or come back in a little bit. I’m updating as I go along. Each site that needs a link to a blog post as an entry causes me to do so.
Okay, so here we go:
21.) Taffy’s Writings
This is another easy one. Taffy is giving away a copy of The Skin Map by Stephen R. Lawhead. And entering couldn’t be easier. Simply leave a comment telling Taffy what your favorite scary book is and leave a valid email address. That’s it. You’re entered. Go check her out and find out more about her love of reading and writing.
22.) Bea’s Book Nook
Bea is going to choose 2 winners in her giveaway. Though she’s not a huge horror fan (me either), she has read a few books over the years that she actually enjoyed from this genre. She’s giving away 2 books from her favorite horror titles. Also, this contest is open to anyone in the world as long as The Book Depository will deliver there. Best part is that no matter who you are or where you are, you can only get a total of 4 entries into this giveaway, making it fair for all.
23.) Mina Burrows
This is a cool prize package as it’s full of all my favorite things. Mina is giving away a copy of Lara Adrian’s Taken By Midnight, a $10 gift card to Starbucks, a huge bag of m&m’s mixed with nuts and raisins, and a tube of strawberry lip gloss. I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks, but I’m not picky. But the rest is totally me, I’ll make my own coffee.
US residents only.
24.) Eve’s Fan Garden
This site is giving away a grab bag of books to one lucky winner. There will be a minimum of 5 books, but from the sounds of things, there could be more. The one thing I have to stress is that they will be asking that the winner donate $5 to help cover shipping costs. I think I can come up with $5 somehow. They don’t tell you what the books will be, but they do stress that this is a US residents only giveaway as they cannot afford to ship Internationally.
25.) Missy’s Reads and Reviews
Let’s face it, the coolest thing about Halloween are all the monster movies on TV. I love the classics myself and that’s why I’m thrilled about this giveaway. Missy is giving away a copy of Bram Stoker’s Dracula (book) and a copy of the 1992 DVD movie of Dracula (which I just ironically watched on TMC this morning). She’s also throwing in a bookmark for the book, some popcorn and some candy for the movie. I’m ready!!! This giveaway is open to International entries.
26.) Bitsy Bling’s Book Review
Okay this is kind of a big one. There are a total of 5 prize packs being given away at this site. The first 4 are all paperback giveaways and are open to US and Canadian residents only. The 5th prize pack is for a total of 4 e-books and is open to International entrants. The coolest part is that you can enter just one, three, or all 5 giveaways as each one comes with their own entry form. Check this one out even if you don’t look at any of the others.
27.) Genre Reviews
Debbi over at Genre Reviews is giving away a gently loved copy of Hangman’s Curse by Frank Peretti. This is a YA book and you can read Debbi’s full review on her site. This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only. You can enter either in the comments section of her site or via her Twitter account. Which ever you use, be sure to leave her a way to contact you if you win.
28.) Colloquium
This site is giving away what to me is the coolest gift of them all. They’re giving away a $25 gift card to Amazon.com. I love Amazon and this would be awesome toward getting some Christmas gifts taken care of. There is only 1 mandatory entry but other ways to enter. This one gets put into my top 10 wants.
29.) Marcia Lynn McClure Fans
This is kind of a cool giveaway as one winner will get their choice of 2 of Marcia Lynn McClure’s books. Pack one contains The Highwayman of Tanglewood and An Old-Fashioned Romance. The other prize pack includes The Time of Aspen Falls and The Visions of Ransom Lake. This is an easy one to enter and is open to US residents only.
30.) Dragonflowers and Books
Anell is giving away a copy of The Forest of Hands and Teeth. I don’t know why, but I’d love to read this book. I’ve never been a huge fan of zombies, but there’s something about this one that’s really sparked my interest. This is an easy on to enter. Follow her blog and fill out the entry form. That’s it.
31.) Belinda Kroll
Finding this lady in the mix kind of threw me off guard. I was lucky enough to win a copy of her book Catching The Rose over at GoodReads and have come to know that she’s an awesome lady and a fantastic writer. She is giving away a signed copy of Catching The Rose, OR one of 2 signed copies of her latest book, Haunting Miss Trentwood. Go check out her site and say hi. She’s a very cool lady.
32.) Murphy’s Library
This site is giving away 2 different prizes. One is for US and Canadian residents and the other is for International entrants. US/Canadian residents can win the first 2 novels in The Last Vampire series by Christopher Pike. International entrants will receive a book of their choice from The Book Depository valued at $10.
33.) Down The Rabbit Hole
This is an easy one. Amber is giving away one of 6 different titles to one lucky winner. This book will come from The Book Depository so that means it’s also an International giveaway. The only mandatory requirement is that you be a follower of her blog. Check out her site to see which titles are up for grabs.
34.) Curling Up By The Fire
This is another easy one because this site is giving away a $25 book(s) of choice from The Book Depository. And there are a total of 3 ways to enter this giveaway, which is also open to International entrants. This a quickie and could get you not just any book, but the book you’ve really been wanting to read.
35.) Dark Wyrm Reads
This is one creepy site, but he’s got some cool books going on for his giveaway. He’s giving one reader their choice of 1 of 3 books. I’d never heard of any of them, but 2 of them sounded very cool. His titles are 33 A.D. by David McAfee, The Blood of Cain by T.L. Gray, and Dark Justice by Donnie Light. Easy entries to this one, go check it out.
