Spooktacular Book Blog Giveaway Hop #1
Hey kids,
Normally I’d be posting something for the Tuesday’s Treasures, but I found out that today is the first day of a week long book blog hop and I had to get in on it. Now here’s the deal. Inspired Kathy from I Am A Reader, Not A Writer is hosting an awesome event called the Spooktacular Book Blog Giveaway and it runs from 10-25(today) through 10-31(Halloween). There are a total of 87 blogs involved with this event and each one is having a giveaway of their own. I’m totally psyched. Why??? Well first of all because there are 87 different chances for me to win some new books and there are 87 new bloggers to showcase for my weekly Book Bloggers post. Thanks Kathy!!!
Now here’s my goal. I’m going to try and enter all 87 giveaways before the deadline. Furthermore, I’m going to try and post something about each site as I enter said giveaway. Some entries will be posted here, some on my other blog—maybe. I haven’t completely decided on that aspect yet, but we’ll see how it goes. I knew there was a reason I got this particular week off for vacation. LOL. So, let’s get too it.
1.) I Am A Reader, Not A Writer
Inspired Kathy, the brains behind this act of genius, will have a minimum of 4 winners on her site. Giveaway #1 is open Internationally and will be choice of book from the Book Depository. If I win that one, I want a book on Mythology. Giveaway #2 is open to US residents only and winner will have choice of two books from author Marcia Lynn McClure. There are two options and 2 books per option. Finally giveaway #3 is open to US residents only and there will be at least 2 winners. They will have choice of books from a long list. Want to see them all? Head over and check them out, and get in on this giveaway asap.
2.) My Reading Room
Crystal over at My Reading Room is holding an easy giveaway. She’s got a total of 7 titles to choose from and all you have to do is fill out the form on her site. No extra entries so no hassle and everyone’s on the same playing field. I like that. This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only.
3.) A Cozy Reader’s Corner Review
Cozy Corner owner, Tiffany, will have 2 winners on her site. She’s giving away 2 of her creepiest books for this giveaway. These are gently loved books, in fact they were only read for the review she posted about each on her site. Want to read the reviews? Click on the book titles at her site.
4.) Why Not?
This site is giving away a copy of Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. This is an easy one to join, simply follow this blog on GFC and fill out the entry form. That’s it. One winner will be chosen on (I’m hoping) Nov. 1st. The site says Sept. 1st and I’m really hoping that’s a typo. LOL
5.) The Elliot Review
There will be a total of 4 winners, 3 of which will be getting ARC (Advanced Reading Copies) titles. This giveaway is open to US residents only and only mandatory entry is to fill out the form. There are extra entries to be had and they’re pretty easy to handle.
6.) Reader Girls
The Reader Girls are giving away 2 prize packs for their portion of this spooktacular giveaway. Prize pack #1 is the Vampire Pack and Prize Pack #2 is for Fairies and Zombies. Pick me for #2 please. LOL. This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents only.
7.) Thoughts of a Book Junkie
Ok, other than having the COOLEST name in the book-blogging community, this site is giving one winner a whole bunch of stuff. Not just a copy of Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare, but other books, bookmarks, pencils, a notebook and more. There’s a lot of stuff in one little giveaway. Check it out. All you have to do is be a follower of her blog and fill out the form. It’s just that easy.
8.) JDP News
Okay now I think I’ve hit the mother-load. This isn’t just a blogger’s site, it’s the site of author Joyce DiPastena (JDP) and she’s giving away a signed copy of her book Loyalty’s Web, as well as a tote bag, a mug, a notebook, a candle, and a bag of Halloween candy. Yep that’s the one that got me. LOL. There are several ways to enter her contest but remember to leave your email address so she can contact you if you win.
9.) Little Squeed
This one is quick and easy. Heather at Little Squeed is giving away a copy of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austin and Seth Grahame-Smith. This one is open to International entries and all you have to do is leave a comment with a valid email address. And that’s it.
10.) Ex Libris
Stella is giving away one Urban Fantasy novel to one lucky winner via her giveaway. There are 3 titles to choose from and the only mandatory entry is that you fill out the entry form. There are a few ways to get extra entries, but not a lot. This giveaway is open to International readers.
