New Promotional Site For Writers
I’ve just found a really cool place designed just for writers. It’s a lot like Digg, but it’s only for articles that have to do with some sort of writing. The site is called Wrideo.com, and all the contents are by writers for writers. It’s a great way to get your writing articles seen and voted on by those who need them most.
I’ve only posted one article to this site so far, but I can see this as being a huge promotional tool for writers of all kinds. There are sections for freelance articles, ghostwriting articles, marketing, publishing, and much more. And like Digg, each article is voted on by other members, the most popular articles being placed on the home page.
Right now, Wrideo is holding a launch contest to really get things started. All you have to do is become a member and add at least one post per week throughout the month of October. Then, simply write a post about the site and the contest before the end of the month. The top 3 people who bring in the most members will win one of 3 prizes.
Prizes are a $50 voucher to Amazon.com (1st place), a $30 voucher (2nd place), and a $20 voucher (3rd place). And all you have to do is help other writers discover a new way to promote themselves and their work to other writers. How cool is that.
If you’re looking for a site like Digg, but specializes in the writing industry, you should check out Wrideo.com. No matter how long you’ve been writing, and what style you write in, you’re going to find a lot of great information here.
