My Apologies

I want to apologize to anyone who tried to venture into my site today.  My site is hosted by a friend of mine, and had to move it to a new server.  Well, when I changed the name of the domain server, I put in the wrong address.  And that is why nobody had access to the site today, including myself.  Some call it a blonde moment, I call it a “grey” day.

So anyway, we’re back up and running on a new server.  This should make it easer to navigate the site, and make loading times much faster.  I’m pretty happy about it.  I did try to leave a post yesterday letting everyone know that I was being moved, but it got lost in move.  Not really that big of a deal, but I had good intentions.

Again, I am sorry if you tried to access my site at any point in the past 12 hours.  It was totally my fault.  I am not a technical person.  That’s why I have someone else take care of all that for me.  I’m lucky to remember my log-in information from one site to the next.  I could never figure out how to do all that techie stuff.

  1. Don’t lie… I’m the one that gave you the wrong DNS info. LOL!!!

Looks like the site is running well. My poor blog is still being a pain in the butt, I figured that if I moved everything to a new server and kept GCDC flying solo on my old server things would do fine. As it turns out that may be the case, but it seems that my MySQL database isn’t doing very well. Still working on that. Ironically, every site I host is running top notch except for mine. :(
    LOL!!!

  2. LOL!

I was just at your site and it loaded just fine. Way easier than it did this morning. Quit kicking yourself. You’re doing a fine job, my friend.
