A few years back, I ran a website called The Prompt Writer. Physically, it’s still online, but it hasn’t been updated in over a year. Why? First of all, because I spend so much time trying to keep my blogs up that I haven’t had time. And also because I can’t get in touch with the person who hosted my site for me. But, as long as I keep paying for the domain name, there will still be a site there.

However, a couple years back I decided to take all the old writing prompts off the site, to make room for a whole new bunch. Not knowing what else to do with them, I took all those old prompts, put them into PDF form, and created an ebook. When I first made this ebook, it was an incentive to get readers to subscribe to my newsletter. But, since I don’t have the newsletter anymore, I guess I need to do something a little more constructive with this little ebook. That’s why I’ve decided to pass it along to all of you.

I figured that since I’d already given all these prompts away for free on the website and in the newsletter, it wouldn’t be right for me to expect anyone else to pay for them.
