Well, I didn’t get my post done yesterday, but that’s because I didn’t have myself properly prepared.  However, I did find something for our first Freebie Friday that I think you might find handy and very appealing.

This is a free e-book by Holly Lisle, titled “Mugging the Muse: Writing fiction for love and money”.  I really haven’t had a chance to read this book yet, but there seems to be a lot of great information in here.  Of course, I’ve made sure to get my own copy, after all, it is free.

This book will give you ideas on how to come up with good characters, how to start your first novel, and how to eventually finish it.  Once I’ve read this book, I’ll come back and give you a detailed report about it, or you can just get your own and make your own decisions.
