Contests and Parties and Blogs, Oh My
Hey ya’ll. I had to jump over here real quick to let you all know that a couple of my favorite bloggers are getting into the whole contest fever thing. LOL Personally, I’m a contest junkie and I’m always looking for one that will spark my interest. Well, this time, I’ve got two of them.
First of all, my buddy Mark from MeandMyDrum.com is holding a contest in honor of his blog’s first birthday. I love this blog and all the great information I’ve gained from it, that I had to do whatever I could in order to get into this contest. LOL. Here’s the way the contest is going to work. Mark has set up several different ways in which to enter his contest. The winner will be announced on February 20th, the official 1st anniversary of the blog. The winner will recieve 1,000 Entrecard entries and a nice review of their blog on MeandMyDrum.com.
Now, I was a little concerned about the prize set up for this contest, as I’m not a member of Entrecard. So, I asked Mark what those of us non-members would get if we were to win. Mark told me that if the winner isn’t a member, he’ll donate the entries to the charity of the winner’s choice. Now that is cool. Plus, the winner will still get a review of their blog. Mark is such a cool guy. Be sure to check out his contest post and get all the details, so you’ll have a chance at this cool prize.
Another of my blogging buddies is getting ready to hold his first contest. My friend Collin has been working hard on his newest blog, FeedFlare.ca, and is getting ready to hold a grand opening contest. He is currently asking for sponsors to this contest, and I’m sure he’s going to do something way cool with this one.
The contest will go live on March 1st, and Collin is in need of some cool stuff to give away. If you’re a blog owner who would like to help out, run over to FeedFlare and let Collin know what you’ve got to offer. He’s listed a few things he’d be interested in, but if you’ve got any other ideas, I’m sure he’d be happy to listen.

Hey Christine, thanks for the shout out. It will be huge and a lot of fun thats forsure. I have got it in place that the first 200 entries into the contest will recieve there own free One buck wiki page. They are currently seeling for 10 bucks a page so thats a nice prize just for entering.
