Another Story Published at Triond.com
I’m very happy to announce that I’ve had another short story published at Triond.com. The story is titled “Wild Rose” and is about a little rose’s prayer to God. It’s not a long story, in fact it’s what’s known in the writing world as flash fiction. It’s a story I wrote nearly 3 years ago and just left sitting on my computer doing nothing.
I’ve had a few other stories published through Triond.com and love this site. You don’t get a flat payment, you get a monthly payment, depending on how many people read your pages and how many ads get noticed. That’s my favorite part. I’m still getting a residual income from stories I had published through them more than a year ago.
Another thing about Triond.com, is that they accept both fiction and non-fiction works. A lot of people publish how-to articles, reports, and tidbits of information. I’ve personally never done this, but have noticed the amount of work published in this area.
So, how are they able to do all this? Triond.com owns several online magazines and websites where they place your work for the world to see. They make the determination as to where best to place your work, and then place a variety of ads on your page. The more page views your work gets, the more money you make.
Now, one thing I need to point out is that they don’t accept everything a person submits. I’ve been lucky in the fact that they’ve accepted all my stories to date, but that’s not to say that this will happen every time. There is a section in my account where it says “Declined Submissions”. It gives a detailed list of all your declined works.
If you enjoy writing stories and would like to earn a little money from them, check out Triond.com. I love this site and would recommend it to anyone who’s been looking for a place to publish they work.
